Flash Harry Frogskin Roof Paint Brown 5L. A water-based, pure acrylic roof paint for metal (iron) and tiled roofs, made to bond to the roof and hold its colour; its low water uptake helps stop peeling and reduces dirt collection. Use it on its own or as the top coat over Flash Harry waterproofing. How to use: remove dust, dirt and loose or flaking paint; the roof must be clean, free of oil and dry. On new galvanised iron use Flash Harry Frogskin Galvanised Iron Cleaner, then prime with Flash Harry Rust Stop; take rusted iron back to bright metal and prime with Rust Stop; seal porous tiles and raw fibre-cement with Frogskin Roof Bond Primer. Stir well and do not dilute. Apply two coats by brush, roller or airless spray, 4-6 hours apart: iron roofs about 8m²/L per coat, tiled roofs 4-6m²/L per coat. Do not paint below 5°C or above 35°C, not when rain is expected, early on winter mornings when dew or frost may be present, or in the midday summer heat. Not for flat roofs, slate roofs or over bitumen waterproofing.
