Instead, it is held in place by the threads. Can be used to join thin pieces of material like metal to wood. These screws feature Pozi drive heads. They are also yellow passivated providing rust resistance. How to use: Ideal for soft wood working projects. When used in hard wood, pilot holes 2mm smaller than the diameter of the screw used, should be drilled to prevent the wood from splitting.
