Duram NS5 Metcote Etch Primer Black 5L. NS5 Metcote is a self-etching primer for new and weathered metal: a high-adhesion primer for mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, PVC, fibreglass, Chromadek, ZincAlume and AluZinc. It promotes a smooth topcoat with good topcoat adhesion, dries quickly, is heat resistant to 220°C and resists acid and alkali. A second coat is needed in aggressive environments such as coastal and industrial areas. Specifications: Colour: Black; Finish: Matt; Pack: 5L; Coverage: 1 coat at 8 to 10m² per litre; Wet film: 100 to 160 microns per coat; Dry film: 15 to 25 microns per coat; Heat resistance: 220°C.
