HPM Rubber Seal 5L – White

HPM Rubber Seal is a flexible, long-lasting waterproofing sealant and coating for roofs, suitable for fibre cement, Chromadek, concrete and metal sheeting roofs, among others. It is a water-based, rubber-like (elastomeric) coating made from pure acrylic polymer. It stretches up to 70% and recovers completely, so it moves with the roof as it heats up and cools down, and it stays flexible – it does not harden over time. It withstands ponding water, reflects UV, resists weathering, chalking, cracking and fungus growth, and helps prevent corrosion on metal. It contains no solvents, is non-flammable and non-toxic, needs no special ventilation, and can be used where rainwater is harvested. Not suitable for high-traffic areas. How to use: clean the surface thoroughly so it is free of dirt, grease and loose or flaking paint, repair any damaged areas and let everything dry completely. Stir and apply straight from the tin with a brush, roller or sprayer – do not thin it. Apply only above 10 °C, and not when the moisture level is above 15%. Coverage is about 1 kg per square metre. First cure about 3 hours at 25 °C; fully cured after 3 to 5 days. Keep the tin closed and out of reach of children. Colour: White. Size: 5L.
