Flash Harry Damp Doctor Injector Fluid 5L. A low-odour, water-based liquid that is gravity-fed into the wall to form a chemical damp-proof course, stopping water from damp foundations and ground water from rising through the wall. It spreads through the wall to form a water-repellent band, so plaster and paint can bond again once the wall has dried. How to use: drill holes about 120mm deep at a 45° angle, every 330mm, in a line 200mm above the floor (or 200mm above a visible damp-proof course), ending in or just past the wall cavity. For severe damp, first remove skirting and plaster to 1m high or 500mm above the damp line. Using clear plastic tubing and a funnel, feed about 1.5L into each hole, then remove the tubes and plug the holes with mortar. Let the wall dry for four days before re-plastering.
